Turbulence Training

Turbulence training is a strength-training workout program created by Craig Ballantyne, a certified strength & conditioning specialist, and a writer for Men’s Health & Men’s Fitness magazines.

Turbulence training is designed to burn fat before your start building muscle.

It is based in Interval training and toning. It uses high-intensity, short-burst weight-training and body weight moves.

The Turbulence Training System comes in ebook (PDF and MP3 format), along with a nutrition guide and a number of other helpful tips.

Pros

Since weight-training and muscle building is still chiefly a man’s exercise, Turbulence training is very concise so guys don’t have a lot of reading to do.

There also several workout and exercise options to choose from.

As stated earlier, this workout is designed to eliminate fat and to tone your body before getting ripped. So for those who are already lean, you might want to check out other strength-training programs. It is great for toning up though, and there are some cool techniques that people who hate going to the gym may want to try out.

The routines are fairly short – only about 15-25 minutes, 3 times a week, so even busy bees can squeeze this into their tight schedule.

Best of all, most of the workouts can be done at home, which means there’s a whole lot less to worry about – and spend on. No gym memberships, no worrying about the weather.

Cons

Though Turbulence training can help you lose extra fat pretty quickly, you’d have to come up with your own meal plans based on the information provided – something not a lot of guys like to do.

The workout routines are pretty much the same. To build muscle, you may need to advance to higher-level workout routines.
