Obesity is a growing health concern among Americans. We all know what the health hazards of this condition could bring. Every year, hundreds of people pass away due to the health complications of obesity. But though there are a lot of people who’s body mass index is way more than normal – 30 – a lot of them are not motivated enough to to shed off those unwanted pounds anymor.

Perhaps its because of the number of weight loss pills, diet fads, and tons of exercise regimens that Americans have tried but failed to show results. 

So it’s not without apprehension that I checked out Debra Mazda’s Let’s Get Moving! 2. Debra Mazda’s workout DVD is composed of a 4-minute warm-up routine, 26 minutes of cardio-toning combo, 4-minute toning exercise, and a 3-minute stretching routine. The moves are pretty basic, are very varied. There are marches, walks and kicks, interspersed with some dance-inspired moves like cha-cha  and side steps. It also incorporates a light dumbbell toning (usually into the walking-style cardio.)

What I like about this DVD is that the instructor is a not a toned, flat-bellied, curvy exercise instructor but a plus-size woman like most of us, which makes her less intimidating. Also, I think that since the moves are fairly basic, beginners won’t have trouble keeping up. The videos are easy-to-follow and the music that comes with it is very upbeat. In my opinion, Debra Mazda’s instructional videos are great tools in promoting maximum weight loss for plus-sized women.
