Fitness Magazine ranked this exercise video the Best Calorie Blasting DVD in 2006.
The video explains basic kickboxing moves and techniques in such a way that any "dummy" would have no trouble understanding them.
The workout promises to tone and reshape your body, and target the arms, abs, gluts, thighs arms and shoulders, through its vigorous and fun moves.
What’s good about the DVD is that it includes a 15-minute tutorial on 10 basic kickboxing moves to makes things even easier for non-geniuses, so by the time we get to the main workout routines, we’d be up to the task and execute proper form and really benefit from the moves.
Also, (instructor) Keli Roberts gives really clear instructions and demonstrates the proper moves slowly and in a very un-intimidating way. She also cues really well. Viewers won’t feel that they’re way behind.
Once you have the basic moves down pat, you can advance to and choose among) the 3 other kickboxing exercises.
The exercise offers varying intensity levels so those looking for some "real" workout might find this exercise video worthwhile. Lastly, props for the safety tips that are used throughout the video.
