Not True: Eating late at night will result in weight gain.

You will not necessarily gain weight if you eat late at night. Some people believe that food eaten later in the evening will automatically be turned by the body into fat, causing you to gain weight. But there are certain factors that determine better whether you gain weight or not than simply eating meals late at night. The main thing to remember is that if the energy intake is greater than the energy expenditure through one day, that is the time your body will gain weight. It is not dependent on whether you ate your meals normally or late at night.

Not True: You can eat anything as long as you exercise regularly.

When you exercise regularly, you can have a higher body metabolism that allows you to burn fat. But to say that you can eat anything when you do live an active lifestyle may be pushing it. With this mindset, it will not be true that you can lose weight this way. The only way you can lose weight is if the energy you use throughout the day is greater than the energy you take in. if your regular exercise burns energy but is not enough to burn through all the calories you’ve consumed for the day, then you will surely gain weight.
