Hollywood Cookie Diet

The Hollywood cookie diet claims that you can lose weight by replacing your breakfast and lunch with just four cookies. Yes, these four cookies can substitute the two basic meals but make sure you eat a healthy dinner to achieve the best results, or probably to keep you away from serious starvation.

Caloric restriction is the secret behind this unique dieting practice. Each cookie contains 150 calories, 5 grams of protein, 25 grams of carbohydrates, 8 grams of sugar, and 4 grams of fiber. So essentially, you lose weight because the calories are restricted, which also works with regular food. For those times when you want to eat real food, they give you a recipe list download.

However, the idea of replacing nearly your entire daily caloric intake with cookies may not be desirable enough. The truth is, you really need food diversity. Maybe they consider the flavors chocolate chip, lemon and oatmeal raisin, diversity.  There is no exercise advice given with the Hollywood Cookie Diet.

The best advantage of this diet lies on its simplicity. Each cookie is individually wrapped so you can eat on the go. But mind you, this diet isn’t a long-term solution and isn’t appropriate for those with certain food allergies. It’s also expensive.
